Our pages set no cookies for shoppers and run no analytics or ad tracking. When you submit a pre-order, the details you enter are stored on our server so we can quote freight and fill your order.
What happens to the details in a pre-order?
We use them to quote freight, confirm your order and ship it. A pre-order carries the blends and box counts, your name, email and phone, the ship-to address, an optional business name and any delivery notes.
They are stored in a database on Amazon Web Services in the United States. Adam and Jordan see them on a private orders page; the people who administer our hosting account can also reach that database. To limit abuse we also keep a one-way scrambled form of your internet address (not the address itself) and your browser's name for each order. Email Adam if you want your order details deleted once your order is filled.
Does the site store anything in your browser?
Your cart. The blends and box counts you add are kept in your browser's local storage until you submit or clear them, so they survive moving between pages. The animated floor behind our pages also remembers whether you paused it (in local storage) and, for the current visit only, a graphics quality setting (in session storage). Neither of those is ever sent to us, and your cart is sent only when you submit a pre-order.
There are no cookies for shoppers. The private orders page sets one sign-in cookie for Adam and Jordan only.
Which outside services load on this site?
Two:
- Google Fonts. Our pages load their fonts from Google's font servers (fonts.gstatic.com), which receive your IP address when your browser asks for a font.
- CoatFlow. The floor visualizer is a frame provided by CoatFlow (coatflow.io). Photos used there, and anything else inside that frame, are handled by that service, not by the pages on this site.
